This is an outstanding tourist attraction for children and adults of all ages. Here, in a vast wilderness of trees 140 Barbary macaques roam completely free, spending their days enjoying themselves in their fascinating society much as they would in the wild, at the same time these friendly monkey's give pleasure to the constant stream of visitors flocking to see them.
In this unique woodland setting, visitors can see at once that these are happy and contented creatures. They play, care for each other, will pose gleefully for pictures and run up trees, and all of this is without a bar or cage in sight!
Trentham Estate woodland occupies a beautiful site and affords everyone the opportunity of a memorable day out enjoying virtually direct contact with the monkey's.
Trentham is close to Stoke-on-Trent which is best known for its fine china potteries.
